Caroline Greene
Caroline trained as a clinical psychologist – but rapidly moved into strategic consultancy (where she has freelanced for some 25 years or so). Her work interests have therefore encompassed both relationship and organisational difficulties.
Why “adopt” strategic pattern intervention as a preferred model for problem solving?
Most of us are probably attracted by (and find it easiest to interact with) thinking styles and situations that resonate with our own basic rhythms. The lure of a way of working that demanded examination of underpinning principles; and one that had, as its hub, establishing creative approaches to breaking into patterns – made it an obvious choice for her.
On nearly all assignments, she invites colleagues (hence the use of the word “we” throughout) who are similarly focussed on strategic pattern intervention - but who come from different professional backgrounds – to join her on projects. The reason for this is that having others involved generates a greater range of creative solutions for clients; and highlights areas that would otherwise not come under scrutiny.
